In Library Programs Start July 8
We have all been waiting for the chance to have fun together! As Covid 19 restrictions loosen up July 1, we will have group activities with stories, songs, crafts, and more. Please check the Calendar tab for our Program schedule. All groups will be limited to 10 participants, so we ask that you register ahead of time to ensure a spot. Call the library or register by phone.
We have some very special volunteers this year, who will lead fun activities for the youngest readers, ages 3 to 6. Diana Preston will start off on July 8 with the book Rainbow Fish. Joy Gideon will thrill them with dragon tales on July 22. Both programs will run from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m.
For older readers, Library staff member Phyllis Stringfield will share Tales from Africa at 1:00 p.m. on July 8, and staff member Jerydth Twyman will lead them to Create a Story at 10:30 a.m. on July 15.
All readers who have logged their reading times and activities are invited to a Summer Reading Party on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. Fairy Tale Olympics will be the main event, along with refreshments and prizes.
June’s activity sheets, coloring pages, and Super Secret Book Club books are still available, so stop in to pick them up. If you need help to log activities completed, ask any staff member.
